A Brief Overview of the Valley Cultural Coalition

Valley Cultural Coalition is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the health of the arts and cultural community through advocacy, communication, cooperation and collaboration.

Our Three Purposes as Stated in our Bylaws

  • To improve the quality of life in Central California region through the enhancement of the cultural arts, science and history sectors
  • To support cultural arts, sciences and history organizations with information sharing, training, coordination, resource sharing, fund raising, training, advocacy, cooperation, outreach, public awareness and education
  • To help make Central California a place where engagement in delivery, participation in and appreciation of arts, sciences and history can flourish

Who We Represent

Coalition members include small, medium and large cultural arts organizations, along with artists, galleries, businesses and individual art enthusiasts. The Coalition stands for our members and the greater cultural arts sector.

The Central Valley Areas We Serve

The purpose of the Valley Cultural Coalition is to improve the quality of life in Central California region through the enhancement of the cultural arts, science and humanities sectors. By helping to make Central California a place where engagement in delivery, participation in and appreciation of arts, sciences and humanities can flourish, we enrich the lives of all residents in Central California.

The Coalition works cooperatively with its members and other cultural coalitions in the following counties:
